I’m a teacher, lifelong learner, artist, and world wanderer.
I have a passion for everything education stands for and it’s one of my goals to return to school one day to continue earning degrees. In education, there is a huge emphasis on teaching the global competencies and 21st century skills. I strongly believe that educators themselves must be aware, curious, and interested in the world before they can share that passion through teaching.
I’ve had the privilege of teaching in Switzerland, teaching and building a new school in Kenya, and training teachers in Grenada. While in school, I studied abroad in Italy. More recently, I declined with regrets, a job offer in Singapore.
I started Adventure Affinity in 2015 as a passion project. Adventure Affinity is about sharing my adventures in travel & food with anecdotes, photos, and tips that I hope will inspire your own adventures. My goal is to inspire people to live beyond the 9-5, to see the world & eat well.
