Dim Sum Square in Hong Kong is a no fuss, no nonsense dim sum only restaurant. Located in the heart of Sheung Wan, many locals and expats frequent this joint during the lunch hour.
Food
Dim Sum Square offers a small menu that includes classic dim sum dishes . I would highly recommend the Crispy BBQ Pork Buns, which is served crispy and piping hot (they’re really good!). The BBQ Pork Steamed Rice Rolls had a paper thin layer of rice flour elevating the pork to be the star of the dish. The Chicken and Chinese Mushroom with Beancurd Wrapping was prepared delicately with minimal amounts of greasiness.
The Other Stuff
Pictures on the menu illustrate each dish. You mark your order on the English order form and almost no exchange of words is needed! Napkins are not provided, so be sure to bring your own or ask to purchase a small pack from the cash desk.
