Winterlicious is Toronto’s popular culinary event produced by the City of Toronto. The dining event started in 2003 as a way to boost Toronto’s restaurant industry during the slow season. This year, over 220 Toronto restaurants participated in Winterlicious by offering lunch and dinner prix fixe menus. Similar to restaurant week in other cities, there are different price points for the three-course prix fixe menus. It’s an affordable way to sample different foods and try different restaurants. As Winterlicious 2017 draws to a close today, here is a roundup of the restaurants I sampled this year.
